Joanne joined G@W to be part of “a creative network of people debating and experimenting with innovative ways of transforming institutions to be more equitable and inclusive”.

Joanne was Deputy Executive Director of UNIFEM for 10 years. She is an active Board member of Breakthrough and Women Win, and is a member of the Global Civil Society Advisory Group for UN Women.
