UN WOMEN: Gender and Democratic Governance in Development: Delivering Basic Services for Women supported by the Government of Norway
We partnered with UN WOMEN to build a body of knowledge, practical programming experience, and tools and methodologies to improve the way public goods and services are delivered to women. The five-year program implemented practical innovations to improve service delivery to women, encourage them to engage in changes in institutional delivery systems, and promote evidence-based organizational change.
UNICEF and UN WOMEN: We worked with three UN Country Teams to help members of Gender Theme Groups improve collaboration between UN system agencies and national partners, particularly in the context of bureaucratic procedures.
The results were fed back to the UN Development Group to support more collaborative and impactful partnerships. Read more about this experience .
Aga Khan Foundation Canada and OXFAM: We implemented action-learning processes on gender equality and institutional change with ten Aga Khan Canada partner organizations, and with Oxfam Canada's international programs team. We also completed an intensive capacity-building program with six Oxfam partners in the Horn of Africa.
