Chand Narayan

Chand Narayan is the India representative on the Global Board of Gender at Work. An organization development expert and leadership coach, Chand Narayan is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of HUM Consulting which specializes in helping founders of start-ups, and small & medium enterprises build outstanding organizations.
An engineer by education and experience (Ingersoll Rand, Alfa Laval, CIAT), Chand was inspired by Ricardo Semler’s experience documented in his book ‘Maverick’ to specialize in HR, and make workplace practices democratic and receptive to the “highest” human values. His HR career commenced with GE where he was recognized for outstanding performance and demonstration of GE Values in the workplace. In his last corporate role as Head of HR and Group Head of OD, he helped scale up CNBC TV18 into Network18 which counted amongst the largest Indian media conglomerates and won the Best Media Place in the ‘Great Place to Work’ awards. Based out of Hyderabad, Chand enjoys reading in his downtime.
