G@W Associates are consultants with a range of skills and expertise who all subscribe to our values and approaches. We do not actively recruit new associates; new associates may be invited to join our community on the basis of their prior association and engagement in our work. G@W is also supported in its administration, finance, communications and strategic planning by a small core team.

Our Partners

At Gender at Work, we don’t just deliver projects for our partners—we work closely with our partners, guiding and accompanying you as we shift deep-rooted power dynamics and build truly inclusive cultures together.

We believe strongly that it is at the community and grassroots level where lasting change is rooted.

We help local groups and activists who know their communities best to map and challenge social norms, nurture local feminist leadership and make sure the voices driving change at the grassroots are heard and valued.

Project: Letsema

We stand alongside feminist movements, trade unions, and activist networks around the world. Together we build solidarity, share strategies, and keep pushing for the deep structural changes needed to challenge patriarchy and create more just futures.

Project: Power Up!

Toolkit: Feminist Organisational Capacity Strengthening Toolkit

We support national NGOs and civil society organisations to weave gender justice into their work and ways of working. Through training, coaching, and collaborative projects, we help create organisational cultures rooted in equity, care, and accountability.

Project: Empowering Civil Society for Social Change in Jharkhand

We collaborate with researchers who are exploring how to better address questions of gender, power, and social change. By linking academic knowledge with lived experience, we co-create insights that are rigorous, relevant, and ready to be used by movements and practitioners.

Project: Gender-Responsive Education Sector Planning (GRESP)

We support and train leaders working in INGOs, UN agencies and other multilaterals. Together we help shape policies and programmes that ensure feminist and social justice values are embedded in everyday practices, not just theory.

Course: Transformational Leadership

We engage with private sector partners, from businesses to unions, to promote workplaces grounded in equality and dignity. By sharing feminist tools and strategies, we help shift organisational cultures and practices so that gender justice becomes part of how business gets done.
